As every project is different the process to achieve the individual desired results can vary. The process below is typical of the steps for a medium to large size design project.

Initial consultation which is typically a one hour overview where budget parameters are established, timeline for completion is determined and overall project review is discussed.

Design meetings follow (number of which vary depending on project) which consist of an on-site assessment where measurements are taken as well as photographs. Subsequent design work is completed for space planning. These meetings also cover client design and style preferences, reviews of any inspiration photos, fabric and color preferences.

Once the project is conceptualized, the work of preparing recommendations for various finishes, furniture and so on begins. A first draft of the floor plan and/or recommendations is presented for review and editing.

Depending on the complexity of the project, a final presentation of options, concept drawings, samples, product offerings and fabric/finish samples are gathered and presented.

Final orders are then prepared, approved and submitted for the client, then scheduling of various installations is calendared.

The above process varies greatly from project to project depending on the scope of work, complexity and duration.
